Frequently asked questions
What is Odoo Community?
It is the free edition of Odoo, under the LGPL v3 license. It includes sales, inventory, purchasing, point of sale, website and more, with no license fees. What it needs is someone to implement, host and maintain it.
Are you an Odoo partner?
No. Quinde is an independent studio specialized in Odoo Community, and it is not affiliated with Odoo S.A.
Does it comply with the SRI?
Yes. Invoices, credit and debit notes, withholdings, purchase settlements and delivery waybills are issued and sent to the SRI from Odoo, along with the ATS report and forms 103 and 104. We check this with automated tests before every update.
Where does my data live?
On your own server or cloud account. We manage it, but the data is yours and you can ask for a full copy whenever you want.
Can I move to Enterprise later?
Yes. If you later need Enterprise features, you can migrate. From that point on you would pay Odoo's licenses.
What if I already run Odoo 16 or 17?
It can be upgraded to version 19 while keeping your data. We review your modules and give you the price before starting; migrations start at USD 1,500 + VAT.
How long does it take?
Start takes 4 to 6 weeks and Operation 8 to 12. The diagnosis sets the exact timeline for your case.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Diagnosis USD 390 (credited toward the implementation), SRI Pilot USD 1,490, Start from USD 2,900, Sector packs USD 3,900 to 4,900 and Operation from USD 6,900. All prices are plus VAT. You pay 50% on signing and 50% on delivery; from USD 6,900, in three milestone payments (40/30/30).
